Donnafugata participates in one of the most awaited events in the international wine calendar: the Great Wines of the World, which features the best wines in the world selected by the American critic James Suckling.
On Thursday 29 February and Friday 1 March, GWOW will be held in Miami, at the Beach Convention Center. Antonio Rallo, winemaker of the family winery, will showcase the red “Tancredi” 2019 and the white from Etna “Sul Vulcano” 2020, on the first day of the event, and the two iconic wines, “Mille e una Notte” 2019 and “Ben Ryé” 2020, the following day.
The Donnafugata wines were selected for the very high evaluation they received in the tasting sessions of Suckling and his staff. At the Great Wines of the World, 900 wines boasting ratings between 92 and 100 points will be tasted. The extraordinary event will be attended by 400 producers from the selected wineries.
The United States is a key market for Italian wine and this event is a must-attend for professionals and true wine lovers.
