MARSALA
In Marsala, in the 19th century baglio farm that represents the historic heartbeat of the company, our roots intertwine with the present. A place renewed with art and new experiences where wines of consummate elegance are aged.
The heart of our family business
Built in 1851, the historic cellars of Marsala represent the most intimate dimension of our journey. A typical Mediterranean baglio where the inner courtyard smells of citrus fruit and olive trees under the traditional wooden trusses. This is where the grapes from our estates begin their transformation: a blend of contemporary methods and the patient care required to enhance the identity of every harvest.
The first Donnafugata Art Gallery
As well as the olive trees and citrus fruits of the historic 19th century Marsala courtyard, there is also the Art Gallery: not just a simple display of labels but a total immersion into the creativity, sketches and colours that have characterised Donnafugata.
Feeling at home
Entering the 19th century Donnafugata courtyard in Marsala is to discover a different side to Sicily. We welcome you all year round with the aromas of the olive trees and citrus fruits for a journey that combines wine with art: from guided tastings to our Art Gallery, where the designer labels come to life.
